Project Snapshot

CCC Engineering was engaged to deliver full building services design for a proposed two-storey Class 9b childcare centre in Casula, NSW. The development accommodates 109 children and nine staff, including activity rooms, cot and nappy change areas, commercial kitchen, amenities, and outdoor play spaces. The project required coordinated, compliant services design suitable for Construction Certificate approval, while addressing council wastewater conditions and strict acoustic performance requirements. Our integrated approach ensured all mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and fire protection systems were carefully designed to support safety, comfort, energy efficiency, and long-term operational reliability.

Our Role

  • Single-stage detailed design across all building services disciplines
  • Heat load, ventilation, and Section J calculations
  • Lighting, emergency, and maximum demand design
  • Hydraulic design including water, drainage, gas, and trade waste
  • Fire detection, occupant warning, and essential fire services layouts
  • Coordination with BCA consultant, Level 3 ASP, and acoustic engineer
  • Equipment schedules, tender documentation, and budget estimates
  • Design certification to NCC 2022 and relevant Australian Standards
