CCC Engineering was engaged to deliver the mechanical services design for a small office fitout within Level 3 of Dell’s Chatswood premises. The project involved the refurbishment of an existing tenancy (NCC Class 5) to create a functional retreat and workspace environment. Working within an operational commercial building, the design required seamless integration with base-building systems while ensuring full compliance with NCC 2022 and relevant Australian Standards. The outcome was a practical, compliant, and efficiently delivered mechanical solution tailored to a compact office footprint.
Our Role
- CCC Engineering delivered a staged electrical design service including:
- Review of existing base-build services and constraints
- Mechanical services layout and detailed documentation (Drawing M100)
- Design of air handling and ventilation systems
- Specification of ductwork, insulation, and equipment selections
- Compliance certification to NCC 2022 and AS 1668.1/2
- Coordination support with mechanical contractor
- Issued-for-construction and as-built documentation
