Project Snapshot
CCC Engineering supported the Star Smash Sports fitout at 311 South Street, Marsden Park.
The new use is a Class 9b indoor recreation facility inside an existing building. We verified that the existing mechanical and smoke systems still comply for the new fitout.
We also delivered the electrical services design for the tenancy. Our work confirmed the existing fire mode operation and kept the fitout moving to approval.
Our Role
- Review and verification of existing mechanical systems for the new use
- Confirmation of smoke hazard management compliance (AS 1668.1)
- Verification of existing smoke exhaust fan fire mode operation
- Mechanical air handling assessment to AS 1668.2 and Section J
- Electrical services design for the recreation fitout
- Compliance documentation to NCC 2022
- Coordination with the base-build systems
