Sweat & Tonic engaged CCC Engineering to provide full mechanical design services for the fitout of their new wellness and fitness studio on the ground floor of a newly built mixed-use development at the corner of Anzac Parade and Garden Lane, Maroubra. The tenancy included a high-performance fitness studio (33P Studio), reception, staff office, amenities, and shower/change facilities. The project required the integration of new air conditioning and ventilation systems into an existing base build, while achieving compliance with NCC 2022 and AS 1668.1/2.

  • The new Sweat & Tonic Maroubra studio achieved:
  • Consistent indoor comfort conditions across high-intensity workout areas
  • Energy-efficient operation using appropriately sized split and VRF systems
  • Full compliance with NCC 2022, AS 1668.1, and AS 1668.2 requirements
