CCC Engineering was engaged to deliver hydraulic and electrical engineering design for a new two- storey Class 1b boarding house development in Bomaderry, NSW. The project comprises 18 self-contained rooms with kitchenettes and amenities, two communal living areas, and a manager’s residence. The client required a practical, compliant design that would streamline approvals, support tendering, and provide clear construction documentation. CCC Engineering provided a coordinated single-stage detailed design focused on compliance, buildability, and cost certainty.
Our Role
- CCC Engineering delivered a staged electrical design service including:
- Detailed hydraulic design including sanitary drainage, fixtures, and domestic hot water
- systems
- Electrical design including lighting, emergency & exit systems, power, communications,
- and security layouts
- Hot water plant review and selection
- Maximum demand calculations and Section J lighting calculations
- Equipment schedules, scope of works, and tender documentation
- Design certification to AS 3500, NCC 2022, AS 3000 and associated standards
