The Central Coast is a single 1,680 sqkm LGA covered by Central Coast Council, formed in 2016 from the amalgamation of the former Gosford and Wyong councils. Both Gosford LEP 2014 and Wyong LEP 2013 still operate side by side under the unified council, with the Central Coast Regional Plan setting strategic direction. Major centres span Gosford CBD, Wyong, Tuggerah, Erina (commercial), The Entrance, Avoca Beach, Terrigal, Woy Woy, and Ettalong.
Project mix is dominated by coastal residential apartments and houses, hospitality at venues like Terrigal Beach Resort and the Avoca cafe strip, large-format retail at Erina Fair and Westfield Tuggerah, healthcare at Gosford Hospital and Wyong Hospital, plus a growing pipeline of holiday rental and short-stay accommodation. Engineering considerations specific to the Coast include coastal salt air on beach-facing facades from Avoca through Terrigal, BAL bushfire ratings in the Hawkesbury foothills around Yarramalong, Mangrove Mountain, and Somersby, regional infrastructure constraints, and a substantial stock of older brick buildings requiring HVAC retrofit.
Our Pitt St office is roughly 90 minutes from Gosford up the M1 Pacific Motorway. We deliver design documentation digitally, schedule site visits efficiently around F3 access, and coordinate with the local contractors and Central Coast Council certifiers who know the region. Most fitouts and new builds turn around in 5 to 10 working days from receiving complete architectural drawings.
